City Recycling
  • The yard waste site, located at 4915 N Nickelplate St, now requires City of Louisville and Nimishillen Township residents to purchase a $25.00 key card to access the site on an annual basis. Here are the Rules & RegulationsTerms & Conditions, and Instructions on Purchasing a Key Card.
  • Yard waste such as grass clippings, leaves and branches will be accepted. PLASTIC BAGS, TREATED WOOD AND BUSINESS YARD WASTE ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
  • Residents interested in recycling paper or cardboard products, metal, glass and/or plastics can utilize the drop off center located on North Chapel St in Louisville near the railroad tracks.

Louisville Gas Aggregation
Beginning in December 2024, the city has selected Eastern Power and Gas (Eastern PNG) as the new supplier for its natural gas aggregation program. Louisville Electric Aggregation
The City of Louisville has entered into an opt-out electric aggregation program with Dynegy Energy Services East, LLC (Formally Energy Harbor) for the term of June 2023 (July 2023 bill) to June 2025 at 6.57 cents/kWh ($.0657/kWh).
