Welcome to the Income Tax Department
The City of Louisville imposes a local tax of 2% on all income earned while resident and or working within the city limits. A reduced credit of 60% for taxes paid to other municipalities, which shall not exceed a maximum of one and two-tenths percent (1.2%) of the taxpayer’s taxable income in such other municipality. Please see Section 192.06 of Louisville’s Ordinances for additional information.
Filing your city income taxes in a timely manner is encouraged. Tax forms are mailed to the general public at the end of January. If you have yet to file and need assistance, simply sign the bottom of your tax form (mailed or online) and mark the box in the top right hand corner. - YOU MUST SUPPLY all W2(s) and Scheduled information. - Please provide your phone number and/or email in case there are questions. - Forms can be sent by mail, faxed to (330) 875-9091, placed in drop box (located in City Hall parking lot), or emailed to incometax@louisvilleohio.org. |
